FITTING INSTRUCTION

WARNING
  • Accessories which are not correctly installed can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to installation. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.
CAUTION
  • If protective wax has been applied to the vehicle it must be thoroughly removed before starting this procedure.
  • The vehicle must be clean, dry and at workshop temperature. Vehicles moved into the workshop from cold or wet conditions should be dried and left to stand for a minimum of 2 hours.
NOTE
  • Left side illustrations shown. Right side is similar.
Fitting Instruction

WARNING
  • Make sure to support the vehicle using axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable lift.

Remove the rear wheels and tires.

Remove and discard the screw and washer. Leave the retaining nut in position.

  1. Remove the screw and washer.
  2. Release the wheel arch liner.

WARNING
  • Make sure to wear suitable personal protective equipment.
CAUTION
  • Allow to dry for a minimum of 60 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

Using the supplied cleaner, (C), clean the highlighted area.

Install the shield (B) onto the rear bumper as illustrated. Use the hook on the shield to secure the shield to the rear bumper.

  • Make sure to wear suitable personal protective equipment.
CAUTION
  • Allow to dry for a minimum of 60 seconds before proceeding to the next step.

Apply the supplied adhesion promoter, (D), to the highlighted area.

Remove the backing from the adhesive tape.

CAUTION
  • Make sure that the rear mudflap is correctly positioned against the rear bumper as illustrated.

Install the rear mudflap onto the rear bumper as illustrated.

Return the wheel arch liner to the correct position.

Secure the rear mudflap (A), the shield (B) and the wheel arch liner to the rear bumper using the screw and washer (E) and the retaining nut.

  • Torque: 2 Nm

CAUTION
  • Make sure the 2 upper retaining clips are installed over both the rear mudflap and the lower trim panel. The lower retaining clip secures the rear mudflap (A) to the shield (B).

Using suitable tools, install the 3 supplied retaining clips (F).

Secure the wheel arch liner.

  • Torque: 2 Nm

Install the rear wheels and tires.
